Our Ingredients
Fish Out prides itself on using only the finest and freshest ingredients and all our produce is hand prepared daily on site from scratch.
Our fish fillets are boned and portioned each morning. We use both haddock and cod in our delicious fish and chips. Haddock is undeniably the more popular fish of the North. It is a more flavoursome fish and has a slight sweetness that pairs well with the crisp batter. Cod, more popular in the South, has a mild flavour and a more flaky, firmer texture. Both are sustainably sourced and are available with either a traditional, flavoured or gluten-free batter – all homemade of course!
And if you fancy something a little different, we also serve delicious calamari and scampi along with a number of meat and vegetarian options.
We cut and peel our own chips, using only the highest grade of fresh chipping potatoes. We never use pre-cut chips which can be loaded with preservatives.
We serve traditional mushy peas, which are soaked overnight and cooked fresh each morning to our own special recipe. And all our food is fried in vegetable oil so our delicious food can be enjoyed by everyone.
